Innovation is a keyword in Scopus' vocabulary, especially because it was the first company to manufacture microcomputers in Brazil in the 70's. In 1996, when Scopus begins to provide services and solutions, it developed the 1st Internet Banking system in Latin America and 5th in the world for Bradesco Bank, with the 2nd only appearing two years later, which was also developed by Scopus for the Bandeirantes Bank (no longer in operation). These projects had fundamental importance for the development of the financial market and IT security in Brazil.
In 1998, Scopus developed the electronic payment system via Internet, using the Digital Wallet, which already incorporated the SET (Secure Electronic Transaction) standard. During that same year, Scopus pioneered BradescoNet – Bradesco Electronic Commerce, the first virtual portal to use safe means of payment via web.
